This website often highlights the negative. And, this website author finds no logical, honest or [good] moral reason to apologize for that reality. There are too many in our culture who ignore harsh realities and would rather soft pedal their present situations and circumstances. They (simply) live lifestyles of denial). Someone told me a long time ago:
[Paraphrase]: “If you allow someone to ‘screw’ you; you are just as bad as the one doing the ‘screwing.'” In other words: If you choose to have your head in the sand and allow others to dictate your world; you become part and parcel of their endeavors.

A reader to this website recently sent this Moralmatters author an encouraging email greeting:
I was sorry to read that you have been weary and apprehensive, but take heart because I am going through the same physical and emotional problems. I understand fully. I feel as though we are carrying the world on our shoulders because of all that has happened and is yet to come. I often do not feel like saying or doing anything because I feel that we are isolated with all that we know. But I go back to the Bible and read about how all that is going on now was predicted and is expected. As Christians, we look forward to the End Game, which is a new Heaven and a new Earth wherein we will enjoy perfect health and a life with NO sin. (Imagine a world wherein we will never have to hear about ilk like Hillary, Obama, etc. again!) But the Bible tells us that this world (and this life) must grow worse and worse before our Kinsman Redeemer comes to take back His Own. If we look at it from that perspective, then we realize that we are living through a significant era in the unfolding of God’s Master Plan.
Please take heart in knowing that you are not alone with feelings of fatigue and deep apprehension regarding these matters. A lot of bad things are on the horizon, and only God knows how it will turn out. This is where our faith comes in. I am trying to become stronger so that I may be in a position to help people whose lives will be devastated by what is coming. This is all we can do: prepare ourselves and our loved ones and stand strong for Jesus Christ when the storm comes. We need to forget about the lies of “God and country” that were fed to us as we were growing up and living our lives. It was all a dream as I see it now. We were fooled by the lies of the controllers who have been manipulating us. They think they will prevail and that they will have the “last word,” but in reality, this evil cabal is doing God’s Will – despite their idealizations to the contrary. Let us remember how the Lord used the Chaldeans to chasten His people (re-read the book of Habakkuk for reference). We know that a tyranny is upon us, but we also know it is a part of a greater Plan. Our duty is to live our lives in the hope of the Expected Outcome – and NOT to be sidetracked by the evil agenda. It will get worse, but we, as Christians, have Hope.
Remember that generations before ours have suffered mightily as a consequence of the plans of evil people, but the best of those generations managed to come through the trials. We must continue to stand for Christ and to prepare our children and grandchildren for the hardships to come. After all the prosperity we saw during our generation, it will be heartbreaking to watch as follow-on generations are faced with the hell that is on the horizon. It is important to note all of this is a part of God’s Plan.
We are fortunate in that we were exposed to people who lived through the Great Depression and World War II. It is incumbent upon us to hold fast to our faith and to the lessons those earlier generations passed onto us because we are going to need all the faith and all the wisdom to be able to endure what is ahead. At times, we will despair, but think of poor Habakkuk, Daniel, and others who found it so hard to understand the fate of the Church. God had and has a Plan, and there is a Future. After a certain point, we must simply let go and realize that God is in control. This is the only thought that keeps me going. No matter what I think – nor how angry I become at the unfairness of it all, I realize that God is in control. Remember the plight of Joseph in the book of Genesis, and how he communicated the logical conclusion he drew in Genesis 50:20 (“ye thought evil against me, but God meant it unto good”).
A number of very evil people are thinking evil against us, we are people whom they deem to be lower than pack animals (they call us “cattle”]; but God intends it for our GOOD. [Romans 8:15-39]
At the end of the day, the evil will NOT prevail. When I get discouraged, I remember that and I begin to think of the players (Hillary, Obama, (et al) as people who have no hope and no future. Satan has promised them wealth, fame, and power, but all of it comes at a price. Someday, they will be left behind, and left with the Dragon who promised them everything, but left them to an eternity of damnation and separation from God.
