The true message of Christmas: Why The Christ became a man

snow4Please note that the following Christmas message was taken from this author’s “The Christian Message” website.  Also this author apologizes for not having been able to format this posting,  properly.  After umpteen times of attempting to separate the paragraph blocks, he has given up. He trusts that the reader can overlook that and appreciate the content.

Why The Christ became a man

It was the harshest of all frontier winters. The man’s wife and children left for the Christmas Eve worship. He could not bring himself to believe in the Christ of Christmas. To him, God, becoming a man to “save” humanity, was, absurd.

snow6The old Indian chief’s community weather forecast proved to be false. Rather than just a few flurries there appeared on the horizon a cold wind of blanketing heavy snow. As the wind increased with intermittent gusts and the snow began to drift, the man scurried to gather the farm animals into the barn.

Once inside the sheltered barn with all the animals intact, the man noticed the birds being blown hither and yon by the gusting winds. It was if they also wanted in the sheltered barn to be delivered from the treacherous storm. The man, who loved birds and often welcomed their nests as perched residences within his barn, sadly paused before closing the door. He thought to himself:

If only I could coax them inside, they would not freeze and would be saved from the wintry blast. It’s too bad I can’t be a like a bird and communicate with them to coax them into my barn. If only briefly, I could transform myself into a bird, I could fly to the flock, inform them of the present danger they face and end up rescuing them into my barn of safety – free from the present dangers and ultimate devastation of the wind, snow and cold.”

Upon hearing himself think these [above] thoughts, there flashed into the man’s mind, the clear and simple meaning of the First Christmas.
My friend, the simple, yet clear meaning and significance of Christmas, is the celebration of Jesus Christ. He came as God, in human flesh to destroy sin, (eternal) death and the devil. He came to rescue us from our sins and eternal death (damnation) by His birth, [holy] life, suffering, death and resurrection.
He came to deliver us from being children of God’s just and holy wrath [because of our sins] and call us into His family. [Ephesians 2:1-10] The Lord God could do that masterful divine work, no other way, than to communicate with us — and He did so with flesh and blood. He did it by being born as you and me [yet, without sin]. He did it by living a sinless life, (of which we could not), and by suffering and dying [as God’s perfect sacrifice for human sin] upon a cross. He completed his rescue and sealed its eternal finality by rising from the dead.
It is this author’s prayer that those of you who visit this site and read and hear this message, would come by faith to know and experience God’s saving Grace [Hebrews 11:6 ; Titus 2:11-14] – the one and only Triune God, who manifested Himself in the Savior person of, Jesus Christ.

The good Lord did not leave His creation without a clue. He provided for us the Holy Scriptures — His Divine Revelation for that very purpose. Romans 1:16 ; Romans 10:17 ; 2 Timothy 3:14-17 ; Acts 8:26-39 ; 1 Peter 1:23 ; James 1:18.
May you utilize The Christian Message website to help equip you to understand, by faith, –  that, which only the Lord of all, can reveal to you. Amen.

Merry Christmas and an earnest prayer and wish from Moralmatters.org

America is not what it was. Our United States is on a down hill spiral. The Christ of Christmas is the only One who can make spiritual sense out of a crumbling and wayward future.

America is not what it was. Our United States is on a downhill spiral. The Christ of Christmas is the only One who can make spiritual sense out of a crumbling and wayward future.

We live in a world, hell-bent for destruction. All one has to do, living in the United States, is not to look far. This nation has been blest by the Triune [true] God. But, it has lost that favored status. For those still godly, moral and / or ethical enough, it is evident that people, posterity, natural, economic and other resources have been squandered and in some cases, squelched. America has not lived up to God’s first command, to be “fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth.” [Genesis 1:28] Neither has it lived up to the Lord’s Ten Commandment standards, Christ’s Golden Rule, or to Love the Lord your God and love one’s neighbor, as oneself.

Furthermore, America, as a whole, lives in political idolatry, separated from Creator / Savior Christ, God. It has exchanged its Christian / Judeo founding moorings for the devilish gods of political correctness and multiculturalism, which sacrifices it young and posterity at its reprobate and murderous abortion altars. Not only has America succumbed to its own population destruction and allowed aliens and foreigners to multiply within; America eschews God ordained marriage and celebrates its diversity of sexual perversions.  Many American people no longer recognize right from wrong. And, many of those, only worship at the pig pens of political propaganda and mass deception. Hence, our United States will get its just [punishing] due at the ever allowing and controlling hands of Almighty God.

The true God of the Universe did not leave His creation without a clue. Gospel of John 1:1-14

As a Christian and emeritus Christian pastor, I know that a new day will come. It won’t be that falsely perceived utopia of political persuasion, but, it will be God’s eternal kingdom to whom God will call and bless. At this Christmas time of year; many of us are reminded of this world’s only genuine and true hope; that being the Lord, Christ. He left his godly throne above to be born into human flesh. It was [perhaps] the greatest of all miracles. Christ came to cleanse this world and its sinful inhabitants. He lived a holy life so that He could be the perfect divine sacrifice for human sin and all of human souls’ personal and political foolishness. Would that all come to the utter acknowledgment of their sins against God and their fellowman and receive this same Creator Savior Christ by faith. Only through faith by the grace of God, can He be spiritually  and practically accessed.

May those of you moralmatters.org readers who have ears to hear, benefit from an informational link from this blog author’s other website. May you look to Jesus Christ, as not only your Creator, but also, your Savior!
